Montreal QC, (January 16, 2025) - The Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance is excited to announce that Ron Betts is stepping in as the Atlantic Education Program Coordinator Intern. Ron will work closely with Charles Martin to absorb as much of his wisdom and experience as possible before Charles’ retirement at the end of the season. He will step in to the Atlantic EPC role beginning in the fall.
“We are thrilled to have Ron join the operations team. His dedication to the industry and genuine love for the sport position him well to serve the Atlantic region and contribute to the ongoing success of the CSIA.” Betsy Linnell, CSIA Program Manager
Ron has dedicated his career to the mountains and snow sports. He is a Level 4 Course Conductor, as well as a fully certified Performance Level 3 ACA coach, a Level 3 Lead Guide with the Canadian Ski Guide Association and holds a Level 2 Operations certification from the Canadian Avalanche Association. Off snow, he is a long-time contributing writer for Ski Canada Magazine and a partner in Eco-Trek, one of Canada's leading builders of Aerial Adventure Parks.
He is grateful and excited to have the opportunity to give back to the sport and the organization, particularly in the region where he first fell in love with winter life and began his career with us. With his extensive experience in snow sports, Ron is eager to excel in this role and make a positive contribution.
Ron will begin his role the week of January 28th. Please help us welcome him to the team.
